Your Personal Information will be processed in the United States where laws regarding processing of personal information may be less stringent than the laws in your country.

We may request your email address and gender and ask for additional, optional demographic data when you register to participate in our surveys.
-
In connection with our survey and employer reviews, we require you to enter an Employer Name, Employee Status, Job Type, Salary, and Job City/State. We also ask for and collect a wide variety of information on an optional basis.
-
Any information contained in and/or attached to any e-mails, text message, or forms that you send us will also be collected.
-
Any feedback you provide about the Site or the Services to us may be used and disclosed for any purpose, provided we do not associate such feedback with your Personal Information.
In addition to the information you submit, we may also passively collect information as you use the Site, including your internet protocol (IP) address and the browser that you use to visit the Site. Women work also stores a small text file called a “Cookie” on your computer to store your login information (if any) and your personal preferences. Women Work may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). While you will still be able to use the Services if you disable Cookies in your browser, certain parts of the Services may not function as effectively. After you register and enable Cookies, we may associate this information with Personal Information that we have collected from you.
We may also use tiny electronic images (called "single-pixel GIFs" or "Web beacons") to count users, determine aggregate information about users, including demographic and usage information, determine which email messages were opened and acted on when we send HTML-formatted email messages. Our Web beacons do not collect personally identifiable information and you can disable them by turning images off in your email client.
HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Women Work is committed to protecting your privacy. As such, we will not give, rent, lend, or sell your individual information unless you ask or authorize us to do so. In general, information you submit to us is used by us to provide you and other Users with Services, respond to requests that you make, to improve our Services and to better tailor the features and support of Services.
One of the purposes of the Site is to aggregate and share employment-related information with other Users. Therefore, you should assume that any information (excluding any personally identifiable information) that you submit will be anonymized, aggregated, and made available to other Users of the Site and Services. In the event that we provide you with the ability to anonymously post certain comments, we will not include anything personally identifiable with those comments on the Site. However, you should know that our internal records may associate your contact information with such comments.

We may also conduct research on our users’ demographics and behavior based on the information you provide us when you submit information on our site. This research is usually conducted and analyzed on an aggregate basis, but may also be combined with personal information to help us improve our services.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose to or share your Personal Information with third parties, unless you ask or authorize us to do so.
We may provide your Personal Information to third party service providers and suppliers who work on behalf of or with us to provide you with some of the services and features of the Services and to help us communicate with our Users. However, these service providers and suppliers do not have any independent right to use this information except to help us provide the Services.
In the event Women Work goes through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your Personal Information will likely be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Women Work or its assets may continue to use your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
We may (and you authorize us to) disclose information we have collected from and about you (including Personal Information) if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on us; (b) to enforce our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy; or (c) to protect and defend the rights or property of us, the users of our Services, or third parties.
